Powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3 processors with integrated Intel® Arc™ graphics and a dedicated NPU, the ASUS NUC 16 Pro delivers up to 180 platform TOPS of AI performance (with Intel vPro® and fTPM 2.0 on select SKUs for enterprise security and remote management). Housed in the Newton N16, it runs without fans or moving parts, making it well suited to noise-sensitive, always-on deployments.

The Newton N16 is available in two versions to match the two ASUS NUC 16 Pro rear interface configurations. The A-NUC109-M1B is designed for the dual HDMI® version of the NUC 16 Pro and the A-NUC109-M2B is designed for the dual DisplayPort version. Check your NUC 16 Pro model before ordering to ensure you order a compatible case.

The included AK-TC5026 thermal paste is specifically qualified for use in Akasa fanless cases. High thermal conductivity alone does not determine the best compound for passive cooling applications. The AK-TC5026 is selected for its ultra-thin bond line, low thermal resistance, and non-pressure-dependent performance: properties that are particularly important in fanless passive cooling applications.

No. Remove the old thermal compound and/or pads with an appropriate thermal compound cleaner, such as Akasa Tim Wipes (Product Code: AK-TCW-02) before applying the included AK-TC5026 thermal paste and thermal pads supplied with the Newton N16.

Yes. The ASUS NUC 16 Pro processors are rated above the Newton N16's 28W thermal limit, and processor boost behaviour can increase power draw further. Before use, we recommend setting the processor power limit to 28W in the BIOS to ensure the case can dissipate heat effectively. Operating the case above 28W TDP without this adjustment may result in thermal throttling or reduced system stability. The Newton N16 supports three mounting configurations. VESA mounting is supported using the hardware included in the box. For rack installations, the optional A-NUC109-FP02 front panel (sold separately) fits the Newton N16 into a standard 10-inch rack cabinet. For wall installations, the optional A-NUC109-KT01 bracket kit (sold separately) enables direct wall mounting.

Yes. The rear panel includes a serial port opening, which can be connected to the ASUS NUC 16 Pro board's internal RS-232 header via the included serial cable and corresponding screw. No external adapter is required. This makes the Newton N16 suited to industrial automation, point-of-sale, kiosk, and embedded applications that require legacy serial communication.
