BARCELONA, SPAIN, February 04, 2026 – Akasa is expanding its fanless custom capability with new enclosure designs that bring together passive cooling, system integration, and flexibility for embedded and industrial applications.
Leading the update are three fanless cases with customised, embedded Liquid-Crystal Displays (LCD): Kepler, Maxwell Pro Plus, and Euler CMX. Designed for systems that require visual interaction, these enclosures combine Akasa’s thermal expertise with clean front-panel display integration. For applications that demand additional resilience, the Kepler also supports redundant power.
Alongside the embedded LCD range, Akasa has introduced a separate family of fanless chassis developed for Kontron motherboards. This includes 1U and 2U 19-inch rack-mountable cases, as well as a compact chassis designed for the K3933, D3234, and K1501 boards, offering reliable performance across a range of form factors.

Embedded LCD Cases
Kepler
Featuring a 150W redundant AC-to-DC power supply and a custom integrated LCD, this 2U rack-mountable fanless case is ideal for monitoring, diagnostics, system control or other human-machine interface devices, while maintaining the reliability of a fanless system. The case supports Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards with Intel® LGA1851 and LGA1700 sockets for Intel® Core™ (12th–14th Gen) and Core™ Ultra (15th Gen) processors up to 35W TDP. With support for four low-profile PCIe cards, the Kepler fits in standard 19-inch server racks, with pull-out handles for easy rack installation.

Maxwell Pro Plus
This Mini-ITX chassis is built around universal socket compatibility, supporting a broad range of Mini-ITX motherboards with Intel® LGA1151, LGA1200 and LGA1700 sockets, as well as AMD AM4, AM5 APUs up to 65W TDP. It combines bi-symmetrical extruded aluminium fins on either side of the case, paired with four copper heatpipes to maximise heat dissipation. The front panel has been customised to incorporate an embedded LCD panel, making it ideal for digital signage, industrial control panels and professional AV environments that benefit from continuous visual system insight with reliability.

Euler CMX
Designed for Mini-ITX motherboards with Intel® LGA115X, LGA1200, LGA1700 or LGA1851 socket processors up to 35W TDP, this compact fanless case measures 248.6 x 205 x 78.5 mm, offering a 4.0-litre footprint, and VESA mounting, making it perfect for installations in space-constrained, noise-sensitive locations. With the new embedded display panel and the included 220W DC-to-DC converter, it provides reliable and high performance operation even under demanding conditions, optimised for industrial automation, point-of-sale (POS) systems, kiosks, digital signage, education, surveillance, and transportation applications.
